The Kidderminster Golf Club

KGC Men's A Team are champions again!

Sunday 20 October saw the Kidderminster A Team become league champions without hitting a ball, having completed their fixtures the previous weekend.

Worcester Golf and Country Club, the only side who could overhaul them at the top of the table, could only manage a 3 1/2 to 2 1/2 win away at Evesham which meant Kidderminster could not be caught.

This is the third league title in the last four years, which is testament to the strength of golfing talent at Russell Road. It also saw the end of a successful four year captaincy of David Meekison who is stepping down to hand the reins over to Andrew Cavendish for next season.
