Caring For Our Course

Helping to keep our lovely course in tip-top playing condition requires that all players observe a few very simple guidelines:

  • Replace your divots properly – the right way round, green side up, tread firmly back into place
  • Repair pitch-marks on the greens – if you haven’t made one then repair someone else’s
  • Rake bunkers properly – don’t just wave your foot or a club in the general direction of the footprints and club marks, use the rake provided to remove all traces of your visit

Our PGA Professional Pat Smith has produced a very informative video on the correct method of raking bunkers.

Pat Smith explains the different types of water hazard and what to do if you go in them.
